Explore the streets of San Francisco
From North Bay, go to San Francisco via the Golden Gate Bridge: the first must see of the city. Next, begin your climb to the top of the Twin Peaks which will offer you a superb view of the bay, featuring the island of Alcatraz. Experience the urban life of the city, by taking a ride on one of the famous cable cars. Visit Pier 39 which is full of shops and walk to visit Victorian houses that define their neighbourhoods.

ELS San Francisco is located on the campus of Dominican University of California, which is walking distance from the city. At the university, you will find a comprehensive range of facilities. You will have access to a computer room, a language education technology center and a library to enhance your English studies. After classes, you can relax in with other students in the leisure center, play table tennis and billiards or play music in the music rooms. A health center is also available on campus.
For those who love their sport, you will have plenty of facilities tailored to your interests during your stay. There is a gym, a soccer field, a golf course (at an extra cost), tennis courts, fitness center (fitness classes and aerobics at an extra cost), basketball and volleyball courts, and also the outdoor pool! Participating in sport is one of the best ways to meet other students and practice your English. After all of these activities, are you feeling a bit hungry? You will find a cafeteria and a snack bar on campus!

The Pennafort Hall Residence
Pennafort Hall residence is located on the campus, in the same building as the school. It offers triple rooms with a shared bathroom, a telephone and internet access. Students will have access to all the facilities of the university and the opportunity to interact with local students who also live in the residence. Fourteen meals each week are included in the accommodation cost. For other meals, a kitchenette with a sink and a microwave are available on residence, and several supermarkets and restaurants are within easy walking distance.
Residence San Rafael
The San Rafael Residence is located off the campus. Most of the rooms are doubles, although singles and triples are available on request. The bathrooms are shared, usually one bathroom between two rooms. Bedding and towels are provided. A recreation room with a TV and DVD players is available as well as a kitchen, a dining room and a games room with table tennis. A self-service laundry is available and many amenities (bank, supermarket, restaurants) are within easy walking distance.
