Hawaii, study English in paradise!
Surrounded by the tropical turquoise waters of the Pacific Ocean, Hawaii is a dream destination for those wanting to study English. No other destination in America offers the unique combination of the culture of the United States and the Polynesian islands. If you close your eyes think of Honolulu, what do you see? You probably imagine palm trees and white sand beaches, with sparkling waves and tanned young surfers. However, Waikiki Beach also has many other attractions for visitors to enjoy.
Experience a city of nature and culture
After class you will always find something to do in the city. The Capitol, the Aloha Tower, Iolani Palace, and the statue of King Kamehameha are all on your doorstop to visit. Between studying and lazing on the beach, you have the unique opportunity to visit the Diamond Head Volcano, or Mount Tantalus. Both are ideal to experience a spectacular panorama of the city, including Pearl Harbor. Spend your evenings with fellow students and have your own traditional Hawaiian potluck, where everyone brings a meal to share. Do not miss out on the local specialty of fusion cooking, combining local flavours with the cooking techniques of Europe, America, and Asia. As would be expected, fish makes up a major part of the local cuisine, as well as tropical fruits. With such a diverse range of cuisine, the exotic flavours of Hawaii are sure to impress!
