Learn English and Study abroad in Cincinnati (USA)
Cincinnati, the green city of Ohio
Come and study English in Cincinnati, a bustling city in the south of Ohio. Surrounded by picturesque hills, Cincinnati is one of the greenest cities in the USA: after your English classes, go and relax in the sublime Eden Park or wander around the lake.
Music lovers can continue their evening with a performance by Cincinnati's Symphonic Orchestra, one of the most recognized in the US. Meanwhile, sports fans will enjoy soaking up the feverish atmosphere at an American football or baseball match at the Paul Brown Stadium or the Great American Ball Park. There you can cheer for the Bengals and the Reds alongside other supporters.
Rich architectural heritage
To enjoy a panoramic view of the city, climb to the top of the highest skyscraper in Cincinnati, the Carew Tower. After, lose yourself in the neighborhoods of Clifton, East Prince Hill and Hyde Park, where you can admire the eclectic architecture. Finally, do not forget Union Terminal Station, one of the art déco masterpieces of the city and indeed the country!
English courses on the campus of the University of Cincinnati
The ELS Language School is on the modern campus of the University of Cincinnati. Ideally located close to shops and restaurants, the school offers a wide range of attractions. Students can take a trip to Salt Creek Ranch to explore the world of the cowboys or go on outings to one of the numerous restaurants nearby to eat great food and meet new people. You can also take part in the Holi festival, a Hindu festival celebrated every spring, where you have the opportunity to enjoy Indian culture, attend traditional dance performances and, as it is a Hindu tradition, get yourself caught up throwing colored paints at one another.
The campus has excellent facilities, including a snack bar, leisure center, cinema, billiards, fitness center, language education technology center and computer room. If you're looking for a game of something after class, there's also baseball, volleyball, football, a climbing wall, tennis, indoor and outdoor pools, kayaking, fitness and aerobics classes (additional cost), gym, track, a golf course nearby (additional cost), ice skating, horse riding, golf and squash are all on campus.
