Bristol, a historical seaside town with an exciting university life
Choosing Bristol for your english course is to choose a historically engaging seaside city only a stones throw from the mountains and the ocean. Whilst staying on campus in this charming town in the State of Rhode Island, you are only 30 minutes from Newport and Providence, only 1 hour and 30 minutes from Boston and 3 hours from New York.
Get lost in the scenic beauty surrounding the city and take a stroll along the jagged shoreline of the picturesque Narragansett Bay. Discover the hinterland at the city of Newport, which was once the favored location of holiday homes for billionaires from around the U.S. Many of these grandiose mansions were built in the early twentieth century and are open to the public.
A language experience that’s close to nature
For an adventure, take a boat out to explore the many islands that dot Narragansett Bay! You can also go on a chartered cruise to Block Island, just 18 kilometers from the coast, where you will discover secluded beaches, an old lighthouse and numerous bird sanctuaries. Alternatively, white-sand beaches on the mainland are only 45 minutes from by car, and if you like thrills, you can make a trip to the ski slopes which are only 3 hours from Bristol.
